CVE Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CVE Procurement Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving cost transparency and optimization for purchased materials, components, and systems in our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Cost-Saving Initiatives: Develop and implement effective cost out measures in close alignment with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Suppliers: Act as a key interface for CVE and Procurement, working closely with suppliers to generate cost-saving ideas and facilitate the transfer of measures to external customers.
- Represent Procurement in R&D Programs: Participate in selected key R&D programs to develop most competitive products based on given market requirements and drive standardization and automation.
- Develop Sourcing Strategies: Act as a technical partner for Procurement to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies across material fields, leveraging the know-how and innovation power of our suppliers.
- Support Market Introduction: Support the market introduction of new products through early involvement of Procurement and strategic partnering with suppliers in new product and service business.
- Technical Degree: Hold a technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, with a passion for commercial topics.
- Professional Experience: Bring many years of professional experience in energy or industrial applications industry, in roles such as engineering, R&D, Project Management, and/or Supply Chain.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Possess relevant technical product knowledge in electrolyzer systems and auxiliaries, preferred.
- Excellent Project Management Skills: Demonstrate excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal customers and senior management.
- Facilitation Skills: Possess a passion for the role as a moderator/facilitator, bringing internal and external experts together in an effective goal-oriented format.
- Language Skills: Be proficient in English and German.
