Senior Sales Representative (m/f/d) - Travel, Transport, Telecommunications, Logistics & Media

To further enhance our successful sales team, we are seeking a strategically minded and experienced Senior Sales Representative for Travel, Transport, Telecommunications, Logistics & Media (m/f/d):

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively manage and develop assigned client relationships at all organizational levels according to defined segmentation and engagement strategies, aiming for high client satisfaction.
  • Strategically and operationally lead the internal virtual account team with empathy, enthusiasm, and perseverance.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and reliable partner for strategic discussions with clients.
  • Identify client needs across functional areas and hierarchical levels, demonstrating the value of our solutions with industry-specific content and process expertise.
  • Develop customized planning for clients and oversee its implementation.
  • Create total cost of ownership and value cases as decision-making tools for our clients.
  • Professionally manage opportunities and proposals for assigned clients, including accurate forecasting.
  • Negotiate client-specific pricing and contract terms, considering regulations for existing contracts, new business, and upselling.
  • Establish a rolling quarterly planning process (including targeted demand generation), actively developing opportunities and pipeline.
  • Achieve set objectives for cloud bookings, encompassing new business and successful renewals.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and professionally manage client-related risks/prevent escalation.
  • Provide feedback from clients and partners to product management and collaborate with other internal stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of experience in SaaS, software, or IT sales (preferably including cloud ERP/outsourcing).
  • Experience in selling cloud solutions or in the adoption of cloud technologies.
  • Market and industry knowledge in one or more of the following sectors: Travel, Transport, Telecommunications, Logistics, Media.
  • Segment-specific network (with clients and partners, industry connections, and within the broader ecosystem).
  • Successfully completed higher education in business administration, information systems, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing larger virtual account teams.
  • Negotiation skills and experience at various hierarchical levels with clients.
  • Reliable knowledge of contractual options, creativity in positioning and negotiation scenarios.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and achieving targets in existing client penetration.
  • Creativity in market engagement.
  • Composure in critical situations.
  • Strong presentation skills at both technical and decision-making levels.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel.
