Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Voith Hydro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing the hardware for control systems in the hydropower sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and dimension control cabinets, selecting system components as needed.
  • Coordinate hardware planning with internal and external service providers, clarifying interfaces with customers.
  • Create circuit and terminal diagrams, wiring lists using CAD and CAE systems.
  • Develop parts lists and order planning in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical or automation engineering, with several years of professional experience in electrical design.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards (VDE, DIN-EN, etc.) and electrical safety technology.
  • Experience with Siemens and Rockwell control systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of common CAD/CAE systems (e.g., RUPLAN/EPLAN P8). Aucotec Engineering Base knowledge is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS-Office and SAP ERP applications.
  • Independent, structured, and systematic work approach.
  • Good German and English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Readiness for business trips and assignments worldwide.
