Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Finance Accounting Associate (m/f/d) to join our team at MAGNA Energy Storage Systems GmbH. This role is based in Schwäbisch Gmünd and is crucial for maintaining our financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare accruals and provisions as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee payment transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Handle intercompany bookings and reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation in accordance with MAGNA standards.
- Manage dunning processes within accounts receivable.
- Address tax-related issues and participate in project work.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an industrial clerk, tax clerk, or management assistant, with further qualifications in financial accounting.
- Demonstrated professional experience in financial accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work methodically.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure while demonstrating entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork.
- High motivation and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong business acumen that supports independent decision-making.
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally familiar with SAP.
