At Optimus Search, we're seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Developer to lead our cloud solutions team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to architect contemporary software solutions for major IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your agile development team to design, develop, and deploy software solutions
  • Lead migration to a microservices environment and spearhead software design, programming, and code reviews
  • Employ agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to refine and optimize software development processes
  • Contribute to the technical design and realization of captivating product features in close partnership with our IT, product, and marketing teams

Requirements:

  • Several years of hands-on experience in enterprise web and backend development, showcasing expertise in Java, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud (any major provider)
  • Knowledge of JavaEE and Golang is a bonus
  • Firm grasp of software engineering, particularly in migrating to and developing sustainable, distributed IT systems
  • Clear, open communication skills with a solid command of German
