Export Control Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team at our location in Donauwörth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independent administration, monitoring, and application of permits under the Foreign Trade Act, War Weapons Control Act, and US export law, as well as documentation of the corresponding examination and administrative procedures.
  • Implementation and enforcement of prescribed procedures in the field of foreign trade and war weapons law, including shipment release or delivery or transaction stop, inspections, audits, etc.
  • Examination of company matters for compliance with statutory provisions, permit decisions, and internal service and organizational instructions.
  • Recording of relevant data, maintaining lists, compliance with regulations, quantity, value, and deadline tracking, reporting.
  • Identifying and evaluating export control and war weapons management data, revision and control of prohibitions, permissions, and authorizations for internal compliance, early warning.
  • Cooperation with technical inspectors on data collection.
Requirements
  • Commercial education with at least vocational training and long-term professional experience or technical education with at least vocational training and long-term professional experience.
  • Business administration with at least a bachelor's degree or economics with at least a bachelor's degree.
  • Structured and analytical working method.
  • Knowledge of the Foreign Trade Act, War Weapons Control Act, and US export law (ITAR, EAR).
  • Several years of professional experience in project management.
