Vestas, a global leader in the wind power industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Operations Coordinator to join our team in Gotha. As a key member of our Service Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbine installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and coordinate necessary technical, material, personnel, and external resources to support service operations
- Prepare for inspections and technical tests on wind turbines by independent experts, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order
- Evaluate inspection reports and technical tests conducted by independent experts, providing detailed technical opinions and recommendations
- Collaborate with the Technical Support department to provide technical guidance and support to service teams
- Coordinate service orders and assign them to service teams, ensuring timely and efficient completion
- Review and verify work hours, material movements, and external costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
- Technical or commercial education preferred, with a strong foundation in coordination and organizational skills
- Basic technical knowledge and proficiency in common software programs (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in written and spoken German, with basic knowledge of English
