Postdoctoral Researcher in Neurodevelopmental Epigenetics

The Institute for Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Freiburg is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the field of neurodevelopmental epigenetics. Our research group, led by Prof. Dr. T. Vogel, focuses on transcriptional control during brain development, with a particular emphasis on transcription factor activity and epigenetic mechanisms.
Our ResearchWe use single-cell sequencing approaches to study transcriptional regulation through histone modifications and transcription factors in the context of cerebral cortex and hippocampus development in mouse brain and human organoid model systems. Our research has been published in prestigious journals, including PNAS, Embo Rep, Nat Comm, and NAR.
