Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Primobius GmbH in Kuppenheim, Germany. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment within our commercial demonstration plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer mechanical systems and components to meet specific requirements and standards of the battery recycling processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems into the overall plant design and ensure seamless operation.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical analyses and calculations to optimize equipment performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in industrial or process-related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, such as CAD, FEA, and CFD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written).
