JOB TITLE:
Cybersecurity Analyst
Rheinmetall IT Solutions GmbH is seeking dedicated Cybersecurity Analysts to enhance our advanced Security Operations Center (SOC), equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration and management of security solutions to monitor and identify security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Evaluation and documentation of security events and incidents
- Development and adjustment of parameters and use cases for effective security monitoring and enforcement
- Collaboration with internal and external service providers to maintain compliance and enhance IT Security Services
- Facilitation of communication within the IT department and management of external threats and security incidents
- Mentorship and training of Level 1 Analysts, along with preparation of security reports and analyses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with IT Security standards such as ISO27001, BSI IT Grundschutz, OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls is preferred
- Proficient knowledge of IT Security tools including SIEM, Firewall, and Proxy
- Strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to processes
- Proficiency in both German and English
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
