Your Role
As a Lead Systems Engineer at ZEISS Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of our Mask Verification product group. This involves ensuring the performance of our solutions at delivery and over their lifecycle at the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify performance trends and potential development topics, coordinate them from a technical perspective, and steer them into the product team.
- Support product management with customer escalations and transfer potentially unclear situations into structured work packages for prioritization and control in the team backlog.
- Develop test specifications and processes, balancing the requirements of service, development, production, system integration, quality, and product management.
- Represent the solutions to our internal and external customers.
- Contribute to the technology roadmap for your product group, shaping priorities for technology pre-development over a horizon of 3-5 years.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with a successfully completed university degree in engineering or science, comprehensive experience in the development, setup, or application of optical metrology, especially in the field of semiconductor technology.
The ideal candidate will have very good analytical skills, the ability to structure complex situations, balance the interests of different stakeholders, and transform them into a common approach.
Excellent knowledge of systems engineering methods in the field of semiconductor technology and/or mechanical engineering is required, as well as a high understanding and enthusiasm for the interaction of service, system integration, module/system testing, and product quality.
Business fluency in German and English is essential, and convincing appearance towards external and internal partners, negotiating skills, strong communication, and teamwork skills are a must.
