As an AI Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d), your primary responsibility will be to establish a solid foundation for AI and machine learning systems. You will design and enhance the technical infrastructure necessary to support AI operations, working with high-performance computing, distributed systems, and cloud technologies. Your expertise will ensure that AI models operate efficiently, securely, and at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your expertise to establish the framework for our innovative AI initiatives, focusing on the selection and architecture of AI infrastructure, including GPU clusters, memory, and networking.
- Strive for efficiency by optimizing AI workloads for speed, memory usage, and resource allocation.
- Anticipate future needs by developing scalable systems capable of accommodating increasing data volumes.
- Maintain oversight of AI model security by creating protocols to safeguard models and data.
- Ensure system integrity through troubleshooting and regular maintenance.
- Foster collaboration by working closely with data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver effective AI solutions.
- Educational Background: Degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in AI, network, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the implementation, monitoring, and performance evaluation of AI models.
- Basic knowledge of AWS is advantageous.
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong technical acumen and an agile mindset, complemented by effective communication and presentation skills.
