Simon-Kucher & Partners is seeking a seasoned Data Science Director to join our team. As a key member of our digital consulting service line, you will drive business growth by leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic data science projects, managing diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Develop and implement AI and ML solutions to drive business impact, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, leveraging your expertise to advise and support clients in developing artificial-intelligence-driven products.
  • Promote the benefits and use cases of machine learning and AI both internally and externally, contributing to business development and thought leadership.
  • Act as a mentor to team members, offering constructive feedback to nurture their professional development.

About You:

  • Minimum 6 years of extensive consulting or industry experience in data science, with a strong track record of leading strategic projects and managing diverse teams.
  • Exceptional entrepreneurial thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to address large audiences.
  • Robust analytical and conceptual abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a dynamic approach.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with skills in modeling and the ability to select and apply AI and ML methods.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based machine learning engines and a strong understanding of business English and German.
