Job Overview

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Lead Cost Consultant to engage in High-Tech and Manufacturing initiatives, which encompass battery production facilities, pharmaceutical and life sciences projects, data centers, and storage facilities. Our portfolio includes both large-scale ventures and intricate smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, execute, and uphold cost management protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate preliminary, elemental, and comprehensive estimates for construction and associated expenses.
  • Assess, analyze, and optimize design and specifications while implementing cost control measures with the project team.
  • Create regular financial reports, cash flow projections, and progress assessments during the construction phase.
  • Conduct thorough cost performance evaluations to facilitate reporting.
  • Execute quantitative and qualitative risk assessments concerning project costs.
  • Identify critical program cost challenges and prioritize essential delivery components.
  • Convey cost management standards to planning and construction teams effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • Ideally, registered as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in construction projects.
  • Proficiency in English and German is essential.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with cost databases and estimating software is beneficial.
