Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent testing for the safety and durability of furniture and furniture components in our in-house laboratory in accordance with DIN EN 14749 and E DIN EN 17684 standards.
  • Take on production-related testing tasks.
  • Release test reports.
  • Support the process of obtaining re-certification for important certificates and test seals in the kitchen, bathroom, and living room furniture sector.
  • Assist in the development of measurement, testing, and inspection activities.
  • Create test plans for test series and technical quality management instructions.
  • Continuously improve testing and measurement tools.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in wood technology, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable completed training with further education to become a technician.
  • Desirable: Professional experience in furniture testing.
  • Good English skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of furniture standards and their application.
  • Structured, independent, responsible, and goal-oriented working style.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
