About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate - Bakery at REWE. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and maintaining a high level of store appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote and sell our bakery products, including bread, pastries, and other sweet and savory items.
  • Maintain a high level of store appearance, ensuring that the bakery area is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and product displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
