Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team at Allymatch GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code for our mobile application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features for our mobile application using native Android development tools and technologies.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and efficient Java code.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
  • Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve defects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in native Android mobile application development.
  • Strong understanding of Android development tools and technologies, including Java, REST, and JSON.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based software development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools.
