Role Overview

As a Lead IoT Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in redefining parking management through cutting-edge technology. You will work with advanced AI solutions, custom hardware, and robust software systems. Your skills in designing and developing software for IoT devices will be essential in solidifying our leadership in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of IoT Software Engineers, guiding them in their projects and professional development.
  • Software Design and Development: Collaborate with your team to create and enhance software for IoT devices, manage backend systems for event processing, and implement security measures to safeguard our IoT infrastructure.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously assess and optimize software performance, identifying issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software and systems, ensuring high availability and scalability through diligent monitoring and maintenance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment of IoT applications.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven background in product engineering or R&D, with experience in technical leadership or team management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, along with knowledge of Bash scripting and C/C++. Familiarity with Linux command line and GNU tools for code quality assessment is essential.
  • Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of key networking concepts (TCP, UDP, DNS, routing, firewalling, NAT) and security principles.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1 level on the CEFR scale).
