We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at MVZ Med. Versorgungszentrum IV der Universitätsmedizin Rostock. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry, with a focus on telomere biology and senescence mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the role of telomeres in cellular aging and atherosclerosis
  • Analyze and interpret data from next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other molecular biology techniques
  • Develop and implement new research protocols and methods
  • Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of telomere biology
  • Prepare and publish research findings in scientific journals
Requirements:
  • PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, including PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry
  • Strong background in data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English
