Berlinale Talents, an initiative of the International Film Festival Berlin, is renowned globally as a leading community for professional development, networking, and talent promotion within the film sector. Selected filmmakers and series creators from various disciplines, including directing, screenwriting, production, cinematography, editing, acting, production design, film composition, sound design, film criticism, distribution, and audience engagement, are invited to a six-day event during the Berlinale to exchange ideas, develop their film projects, and explore new career opportunities.
Berlinale Talents is seeking a dedicated, self-organized, and structured individual for the role of Event Coordination Specialist (m/f/d)
Event Coordination Specialist (m/f/d)- Location: Berlin
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Coordinate the content and layout of event invitations
- Manage accreditation and, if necessary, invitations for sponsors, partners, experts, trainers, and the Berlinale Talents team
- Oversee digital invitation management and seating arrangements for three major events with approximately guests, as well as additional events, including on-site support
- Brief entry staff and provide assistance at the Help Desk to ensure smooth access
- Offer further support to the event team during various functions
- Maintain and update participant data in the database
- Assist in the migration of master data to the new Berlinale database, including research and development of target groups and guest lists
- Completed vocational training as an event manager or a related field
- Initial experience in the cultural sector and event management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Meticulous and independent work ethic
- Excellent self-organization, high motivation, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in German and English at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with internet applications
- A diverse range of responsibilities within a dynamic team at a leading cultural institution
- Compensation according to the public service collective agreement (TVöD E7)
