Production Planner Job Description

As a Production Planner at Jigsaw Business Group, you will play a crucial role in coordinating schedules, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan production according to current customer call-offs
  • Coordinate with toolmaking staff regarding tool repairs and preventive maintenance of tools
  • Coordinate with project management staff regarding sampling, advance planning, and reporting to production management
  • Conduct the Next-Week-Meeting and create and close work orders
  • Monitor missing parts lists and coordinate with shift leaders regarding processing status and repacking/special work
  • Create shift forecasts, including indication of staffing needs, and update the Operation Planner to efficiently plan production
  • Enter feedback slips into the ERP system and record current empty container inventory
  • Support compliance with guidelines regarding IATF 16949 processes and 5S rules, contribute to continuous improvement processes, and support company activities in health, occupational safety, and environmental protection
Requirements:
  • Completed commercial/technical vocational training or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in production planning is desirable but not required
  • High level of commitment and independence, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
  • Team orientation and proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and the ERP system
Language Skills:

German - preferably fluent, and good written and spoken English
