Position Overview: The Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn is seeking a distinguished individual for a W3 Professorship in Theoretical Particle Physics within the Institute of Physics, specifically in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
Research Focus: The successful candidate will engage in research concerning the phenomenology of elementary particles, particularly within the framework of the Standard Model and its extensions. This role is pivotal in enhancing the existing spectrum of theoretical and experimental particle physics activities in Bonn.
Collaborative Efforts: The appointee will play a significant role in fostering collaborations with notable institutions, including the Technical University Dortmund, the University of Siegen, and the Forschungszentrum Jülich. Contributions to joint research initiatives and educational activities are expected.
