About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Bertrandt. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding our hardware development team through the Scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agility and Team Collaboration: Define, organize, and execute Scrum Master activities for a hardware team, ensuring a collaborative and agile work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify, minimize, and communicate risks to the team, and facilitate conflict resolution and problem-solving processes.
  • Team Support: Ensure optimal working conditions for product teams and take on additional responsibilities for the development of complex control units in the EE domain.
  • Methodical Support: Assist the Product Owner in resource planning and backlog prioritization.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain open communication with stakeholders, process partners, and project members to ensure transparency and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Hold a degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science or a related field) or have equivalent experience as an agile coach.
  • Agile Methodology: Possess comprehensive knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience with agile software development methods (Design Thinking, Story Mapping, TDD, ATDD).
  • Technical Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the development process and technology for control units, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, high-level communication and coaching skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is required.
