About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Measurement and Testing Equipment Specialist to join our team at ABB Deutschland. As a key member of our Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inspection: Select and evaluate suitable service providers and procure and inspect test and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Calibration Coordination: Plan and coordinate the timing and organizational process of calibration in collaboration with external calibration laboratories to ensure seamless operations.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor the process of releasing and blocking measurement and test equipment to ensure accurate tracking and maintenance.
  • Communication and Support: Handle correspondence regarding the monitoring of measurement equipment and provide expert advice to users on the proper use and maintenance of test and measuring equipment.
  • Process Optimization: Independently manage the entire process from ordering, creating, controlling, to optimizing special tools in coordination with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: Several years of professional experience in the field of mechatronics engineering.
  • Technical Knowledge: Enhanced knowledge in measuring and testing tools and the ability to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in German and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Degree in technical vocational training or further education as a state-certified technician in the field of mechatronic engineering.
