Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work on the synthesis and characterization of fluorescent carbon-based quantum dots for sensing applications. The project involves the preparation of novel materials with unique optical properties, which will be used to develop new sensing technologies.
Responsibilities- Design and synthesis of fluorescent carbon-based quantum dots
- Characterization of the optical and structural properties of the quantum dots
- Optimization of the quantum dots' optical properties
- Preparation of fluorescent composites made of the quantum dots
- Application of the developed fluorescent quantum dots as sensors
- Background in chemistry, materials science, and optical materials
- Experience in wet chemical synthesis
- Interest in optical materials and sensing technologies
