Head of Corporate Communications - Europe

As a pivotal member of the Corporate Affairs team, the Head of Corporate Communications for Europe will play a critical role in enhancing the organization's external image and reputation across significant international markets.

This position involves establishing strong partnerships with regional leadership to formulate and implement communication strategies that resonate with local stakeholders and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cross-departmental teams and coordinate with global communications agencies.
  • Collaborate to create digital content, manage local disclosures, and develop outreach materials tailored for specific markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local functional leaders.
  • Enhance corporate visibility and reputation in Europe through strategic media engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Adapt corporate messaging for local relevance while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a representative of the corporate brand and support initiatives aimed at employee engagement.
  • Identify operational challenges and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience in communications within the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both global and local insights.
  • Experience in public relations focused on corporate reputation management.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders professionally and diplomatically.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills suited for a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient writing and storytelling abilities with a creative flair.
  • Willingness to navigate between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Experience with digital media and capability to lead agency collaborations.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and project management skills.
  • A genuine passion for science and patient impact, with a readiness for international travel.
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
