Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, reliable data, and analysis to support business decisions. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our decarbonization strategy and associated technological challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support finance teams with timely and accurate financial data and reporting
  • Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to develop business reviews, metrics, and goals
  • Identify and propose solutions to business challenges, developing and controlling key performance indicators
  • Delve into financial data to provide expert insights and recommendations
  • Investigate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work on corporate, local, or brand projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Review and design finance procedures to optimize effectiveness

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in finance, management, controlling, or accounting
  • Strong experience in developing financial reports, metrics, and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels
  • Powerful Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory; knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, QlikView, and Power BI is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication and to drive projects across an organization
  • Very good English; any other additional language is a plus
