Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical systems and services. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight. As an Electrical Engineer at Winthrop Technologies, you will work with a team of electrical sub-contractors to design, develop, and install electrical systems within a large electrical system. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all works are carried out and managed in accordance with our Integrated Management System, managing and reviewing drawings, advising and guiding sub-contracted staff on technical aspects, prioritizing and allocating work for the technical team, and ensuring sub-contractor compliance with site and project requirements. You will also apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions, manage document control to ensure all logs are kept up to date, and create handover packs and test packs for systems. Additionally, you will ensure that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including health and safety issues on site, reviewing ways of working to improve safety, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping. Requirements for this role include a relevant electrical qualification, such as a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, HNC/HND qualifications, and 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment. Data centre experience is advantageous, as is proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Winthrop Technologies is an equal opportunities employer.
