Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Test System Development team at our Ulm site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of test systems to our customers.

The Test Systems department at HENSOLDT designs, develops, and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare, and avionics systems. Our test systems are automated and based on test managers, such as TestStand, which integrate Labview and Labwindows applications, among others, or are programmed in C++.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects for test systems, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Ensure compliance with economic goals and technical specifications.
  3. Design test systems based on customer requirements, utilizing standard components.
  4. Define the required test system architecture and create associated system documentation.
  5. Specify subsystems and modules, hardware and software, in the project team.
  6. Interface with internal customers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  7. Create internal offers and manage subcontractors in close cooperation with purchasing.

Travel may be required for business purposes.

Your Profile

  1. Completed studies in natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field.
  2. Sound knowledge in the development of test systems.
  3. Basic knowledge of high-frequency technology and/or optronics is advantageous.
  4. Excellent understanding of systems.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  6. Advanced knowledge of German and English.
