Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Nitrado (marbis GmbH). As a key member of our enterprise console team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing scalable and reliable web APIs that power our enterprise console.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and fault-tolerant web APIs using modern principles and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver user-centric solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Ensure high-quality, performance, and security of the backend code and infrastructure by applying best practices and standards, conducting code reviews, and performing testing and monitoring.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across the entire stack and provide root cause analysis and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and share knowledge and expertise with the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the backend development field and evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably with Go.
- Strong knowledge in designing scalable and fault-tolerant web APIs, through modern principles like Event Driven Design.
- Experience with K8S, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and code quality tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in game development and building products for developers preferred.
