We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team at Coforge. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining physical servers, storage units, network devices, and other IT infrastructure within the data center.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues to minimize downtime and ensure data center operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vSAN.
- Manage and monitor VMware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) within VMware environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Hyper-V infrastructure, and other virtualized environments.
- Collaborate with other team members to support Data Center operations and projects.
- Utilize knowledge of Cisco UCS blades for server provisioning and management.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and file services to ensure availability and reliability.
- Provide support for Windows and Linux OS.
- Troubleshoot operating system and server hardware issues to resolution.
- Perform patching and upgrades.
- Maintain and update documentation.
Requirements:
- INFRASTRUCTURE / APPLICATION SERVER
- TROUBLESHOOT DESKTOP / LAPTOP HARDWARE, ACTIVE DIRECTORY, DNS, DHCP
- 5.5 to 9.5 Years of experience
