About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at understandAI GmbH. As a Fullstack Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering a market-leading annotation product to our customers.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the front- and backends of our web applications, delivering great usable web UIs and reliable cloud services. You will work closely with our team to build, ship, and operate our product, making AI accessible for real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and reliable web applications within an experienced team
  • Create a positive user experience that is highly optimized towards productivity
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews
  • Participate in pair and mob programming sessions with your team
  • Set up integration pipelines and automate business processes
  • Contribute to DevOps efforts to build, test, and release software faster and more reliable
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science (or similar) or a track record of successfully completed projects
  • Strong software engineering skills
  • Familiarity with agile software development
  • Ability to raise concerns over code quality or lacking test cases and fix problems once seen
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
