Position Overview
The Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, is seeking exceptional mathematicians for a W2 Professorship aimed at fostering independent research among promising junior scholars.
Role Details
This is a temporary position designed for a duration of five years, established through a partnership between the University and the Max Planck Society. The selected candidate will benefit from the resources provided by the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics and will engage in our advanced educational programs. Proficiency in the German language is not a prerequisite.
Candidate Profile
We are in search of a young researcher who has recently obtained their doctoral degree and is beginning to formulate their own research agenda. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated scientific independence through relevant publications and possess some international research experience.
