Job Overview:

As a key member of the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our stores, online platforms, and marketplaces. Your primary responsibilities will include handling payment transactions, reconciling accounts, and processing digital cash register reconciliations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining debtor accounts, coordinating with financial institutions, and reconciling intercompany transactions. You will also assist with financial reporting and have the opportunity to contribute to special projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and reconcile various financial accounts, including payment transactions and digital cash register reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor accounts, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with financial institutions to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payment transactions.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with financial reporting, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Completed a degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in accounting, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP-FI, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
