About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Projects Support Specialist to join our team at Valeo. As a key member of our Logistics department, you will be responsible for improving material flow and supporting daily operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set-up and Programming of Packaging Database: You will be in charge of setting up and programming an easy-to-use packaging database to administer empty customer and supplier trays, control material received and material sent out.
  • Layout Optimizations: You will work on layout optimizations for better material flow inside the plant.
  • Weekly SIOP Participation: You will participate and support in weekly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings.
  • Forecasting and Disposition: You will prepare forecasts and disposition of material.
  • Backlog and Late Supplier Deliveries Monitoring: You will monitor backlog and late supplier deliveries.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree or Relevant Bachelor Degree in Logistics: You must have an engineering degree or relevant bachelor degree in logistics.
  • First Experience in Relevant Field: You must have a first experience in the relevant field (internships, work-study).
  • Language Skills: You must have B2 and higher in English and minimum B1 in German.
  • Technical Skills: You must have a good knowledge of MS Office, basics in SAP, and be a fast learner.
  • Soft Skills: You must be well-organized, good at time management, and have good communication skills.
