Engineering Project Specialist in Automotive Conveying Systems

  • Project Leadership: Oversee conveying systems projects within the automotive sector, concentrating on body-in-white, painting, or final assembly stages. Manage all project phases from initial concept to final execution in both new and existing facilities.
  • Process Optimization: Assess current operational processes and enhance production workflows by formulating conversion or modification strategies, designing layouts, and planning upgrade steps in existing facilities.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate and assess plans for conveying technology, including investment needs, to assist clients in making informed financial decisions.
  • System Planning: Conduct detailed planning of conveying systems regarding mechanical and control implementation, preparing specifications and requirements for market inquiries.
  • Offer Evaluation: Review proposals for technical adequacy and comparability, aiding the procurement process by providing recommendations for conveying technology equipment.
  • Comprehensive Management: Oversee the entire planning and procurement cycle, coordinating project support throughout construction, commissioning, and acceptance phases. This includes monitoring schedules, controlling costs, and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaboration Coordination: Work closely with adjacent trades, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless cooperation throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, production engineering, or automation technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in the automotive sector, knowledgeable about planning, execution, and commissioning processes in conveying and automation technology.
  • Strong expertise in mechanics, construction, electrical, and control technology, preferably in layout design.
  • Exceptional conceptual, methodological, and analytical abilities.
  • Self-reliant, organized, solution-focused, and capable of independent action.
  • Proficient in CAD layout software such as Microstation, including TriCad and LuArtX.
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong skills in MS-Office applications.
