Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with seasoned technical professionals to grasp fundamental project management principles in Research and Development. Assist in various project-related tasks alongside our scientists. Conduct small-scale simulation experiments and organize analytical measurements utilizing advanced data processing techniques. Perform and present literature reviews and cutting-edge analysis relevant to project objectives.Following an initial training period, you will assist in applied research activities related to cream cheese, process cheese, or natural cheese. You will gain hands-on experience with dairy-specific equipment, produce prototypes at bench-top or pilot plant scales, and analyze cheese samples for key parameters. Depending on the project scope, method development may also be part of your responsibilities. You will apply scientific methodologies, including literature and patent research, and share your findings through oral presentations and written reports.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Food Technology/Science or Chemical Engineering. Basic familiarity with food processing equipment in a plant or pilot plant setting. Strong interest and skills in process engineering, data processing, and software applications. Innovative mindset with a collaborative spirit. Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy. Proficiency in spoken English (German language skills are a plus).This internship is designed for a duration of 6 months.
