About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager I to lead our engineering team and drive technical excellence in our software development processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 6-10 developers and drive team performance and way of working to deliver business value.
  • As a line manager, lead team members on a growth path that maximizes their potential and unlocks high performance and impact.
  • Establish yourself as a credible technical leader in the team's domain and contribute individually.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between the team and stakeholders, including our product organization.
  • Foster a continuous improvement habit and stay on top of team health.
  • Identify valuable candidates to hire and grow a diverse, resilient, and high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and effective engagement with senior engineers.
  • Up-to-date, hands-on programming skills in at least one of C++, Swift, Kotlin.
  • Credible, senior software engineering experience in an engineering team setting.
  • Passion to develop and learn engineering management skills.
  • Passion to help others grow and succeed.
