Job Title: Smarts Integration Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Smarts Integration Tech Lead to lead and drive the integration, customization, and optimization of our network management systems. The ideal candidate will develop, integrate, and test Smarts adapters/certifications, implement root cause analysis, and lead customizations to support operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test adapters and Smarts certifications for various network devices and Network Management Systems (NMS) / Element Management Systems (EMS);
  • Develop and refine alarm correlation logic to enable efficient Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network incidents;
  • Integrate Smarts with inventory sources, utilizing AMN Cache for effective event enrichment and network management optimization;
  • Develop and implement integration with Impact Engine to correlate the impact of device or port outages on customer services, improving response time and service restoration efforts;
  • Customize Smarts alarm filters and workflows based on the specific needs of the operations team to ensure accurate and actionable alerts;
  • Service Topologies Development;
  • Customization for Specific Modules in the System.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related degree;
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with EMC Smarts network management solutions, including system integration, development, and customization;
  • Experience as a Technical Leader;
  • Strong experience with NMS/EMS system integration;
  • Proven experience with alarm correlation and network event enrichment;
  • Hands-on experience with Smarts adapters and certification development;
  • Knowledge of network topologies, IP services, optical transport systems, and IPAM;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and work with global teams;
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
