Organic Chemist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced organic chemist to join our Isotope Chemistry Team in Grafing near Munich.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate the synthesis of radio-labeled small molecules, particularly 14C.
- Provide expert advice to clients on suitable label positions and project status updates.
- Determine the purity and identity of synthesized materials, adhering to relevant regulations.
- Monitor activities subcontracted to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
- Evaluate, develop, and implement new technologies and skills in organic synthesis and radiochemical synthesis, aligning with department strategy.
Your Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Organic Chemistry with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- In-depth knowledge of organic (medicinal) chemistry, including analytical skills (HPLC, NMR, and MS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work as a team player and project driver.
- Fluent in English and German, with a strong command of both written and spoken languages.
- Experience in isotope labeling and radiochemical synthesis (14C) is advantageous but not required.
