Job Title: Building Architecture Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Architecture Manager to join our team at Die Autobahn. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing key topics of Building Architecture, specifically in the areas of new construction, expansion, renovation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate Building Architecture processes in our branches, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee building projects in a supervisory role, including project monitoring, design support, and review.
  • Issue construction permits according to the Federal Highways Act for service and rest areas, as well as expansion of electro-mobility on federal highways.
  • Develop concepts and guidelines for the department, addressing fundamental questions and providing technical leadership.
  • Interface with external stakeholders, including the Federal Ministry of Transport, the Road and Transportation Research Association, and the Federal Highway Research Institute.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in Building Architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, such as HOAI, VOB, BHO, building codes, and regulations in the construction and energy sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally SAP.
  • Class B driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German.
