Join Our Team at GEOMAGIC and play a crucial role in the energy transition. As a Java Backend Engineer (m/f/d) within our LaRA project team, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative backend solutions for major clients in the energy sector, driving our projects forward.

Your Responsibilities
  • Your contributions will help advance the energy transition by collaborating with our LaRA project team to create innovative solutions for our clients in the areas of grid expansion and renewable energy.
  • You will design and implement web applications utilizing JavaEE/J2EE, databases (SQL, etc.), JSF, and JBoss AS.
  • You will analyze requirements and develop creative solutions to ensure the successful progression of projects.
  • You will work within a small project team using agile methodologies, actively shaping the project workflow.
Your Profile
  • You possess a completed vocational training as an IT specialist, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Additionally, you have several years of professional experience in software development with Java.
  • You also have experience with the following technologies: JavaEE/J2EE, databases (SQL, etc.), JSF, and JBoss AS.
  • You are a team player with initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ideally, you have prior experience with JBoss Seam, Oracle ADF, and/or Oracle databases.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent German language proficiency complete your profile.
