Service Description

The goal of this contract is to design and document a subsystem for a proprietary cloud environment utilizing the IBM Security Verify product suite. This includes connecting applications to the subsystem Extranet through connectors for identity information provisioning, adhering to specified interface documentation.

Service Package A: Design and Implementation
  • Develop a concept for a containerized Identity and Access Management system utilizing IBM Security Verify Governance/Access version 10 and Kubernetes.
  • Design the technical integration with the existing personnel management system.
  • Deliver a comprehensive concept using a tool-based approach (Confluence) for clear illustration and description, including:
    • Creation of a component overview based on the IBM Security Verify product family for deployment in a private cloud infrastructure.
    • Development of an interface and dependency description to outline all necessary communication relationships for deployment.
  • Define and model IAM processes and workflows tailored to customer-specific requirements.
  • Establish a container-based IAM infrastructure utilizing IBM Security Verify Governance/Access version 10 with GitLab and Kubernetes.
  • Automate the provisioning of the IAM infrastructure through developed scripts using GitLab and Kubernetes.
  • Integrate with existing system components (e.g., VMware VCF, Kubernetes Cluster, Managed DB, Managed OS).
Service Package B: Application Integration
  • Develop connectors/adapters for the IBM Security Directory Integrator to link applications based on defined interface concepts.
  • Provide dummy applications during connector development.
  • Conduct developer tests to ensure proper data provisioning based on test data.
  • Design and implement application-specific authorization models.
  • Integrate application-specific authorization roles into the defined business roles of the extranet.
  • Implement both automated and approval-based workflows for role assignment via IBM Security Verify Governance.
  • Document additional information in interface documents and/or in Confluence (knowledge management tool).

Experience Requirements
  1. Technical and Functional Conception: Minimum 5 years in the development of Identity Management solutions in heterogeneous system landscapes based on IBM Security Verify Governance.
  2. End-to-End IAM Processes: Minimum 5 years in the conception of IAM processes and workflows, focusing on Identity Management and interfaces to directory, access, and audit components.
  3. Customization Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Governance.
  4. Application Integration: Minimum 5 years of experience in connecting applications using IBM Security Directory Integrator.
  5. Role Modeling: Minimum 5 years in modeling and implementing application-specific roles in IBM Security Verify Governance.
  6. Containerized Infrastructure Setup: Minimum 3 years of experience in establishing IBM Security Verify Governance infrastructures based on Kubernetes.
  7. Project Management: Minimum 3 years in managing and coordinating IAM projects.
  8. Requirements Engineering: Minimum 3 years in requirements engineering for IAM projects.
  9. Critical Infrastructure Experience: Minimum 2 years in environments of companies/critical infrastructure (e.g., banks).
  10. DevSecOps Team Experience: Minimum 2 years in working within DevSecOps teams, taking responsibility for development, operations, and security tasks.
