About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Harvest AI GmbH in Potsdam. As a key member of our international team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our decision analysis platform, enabling cleantech firms to make data-driven decisions about international markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-volume data applications using Laravel and PHP.
  • Implement cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub, and Laravel Sail for consistent development environments.
  • Work with PostgreSQL setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute project migrations across different tech stacks.
  • Develop REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Requirements
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technologies, or similar.
  • Extensive experience with Laravel and PHP for web application development.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub, and Laravel Sail.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases and data formats, including JSON and CSV with metadata.
  • Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) server administration.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of React and front-end development.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and cloud storage solutions.
