About the Job

The Kommunales Rechenzentrum Niederrhein (KRZN) is seeking a highly skilled Geoinformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Servicebereich "Boden", you will be responsible for the conception, maintenance, and development of software solutions for the Liegenschaftskataster.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, adapt, and integrate applications for the Liegenschaftskataster, with a focus on the Amtliches Liegenschaftskataster-Informationssystems (ALKIS)
• Provide ongoing support for the productive operation of applications, including problem analysis, resolution, and documentation
• Model and implement process workflows and programs for the operation of the Liegenschaftskataster in the KRZN's IT architecture and integration into the Geodateninfrastruktur (GDI)
• Offer continuous consultation and support to users, as well as coordination of collaboration with external service providers
• Present processes in a transparent and demand-driven manner for various target groups (through committee and meeting work)

Requirements

• A bachelor's or diploma degree in Geodäsie, Geoinformatik, Geoinformation, Vermessungswesen, or a comparable engineering or geoscientific-technical field with equivalent qualifications
• Practical experience in the administration and operation of GIS desktop and GIS web systems, preferably including those that form the basis of the Amtliches Liegenschaftskataster-Informationssystems (ALKIS), or the willingness to engage with these topics
• Knowledge of LINUX operating systems and database systems (such as PostgreSQL) is desirable
• A strong team player with the ability to rely on colleagues, with a natural inclination towards self-initiative, independent work, and responsibility
• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving competence, as well as a strong interest in innovative developments in the field of geoinformation
• Proficiency in German language (at least C1 level)
