We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Professional to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters on a company and project level.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on HSE best practices and company policies.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, including reports, audits, and inspections.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and trends.
- Consult with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and clients, on HSE matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in HSE, preferably in the offshore or maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
