About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Financial Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Financial Engineer Intern, you will work alongside our software engineers and quant developers to drive transformative changes in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hands-on in Python and contribute to the development of high-performance risk management tools, near-real-time interactive dashboards, and alerting systems.
- Manage the development of cutting-edge technology and be part of modern software development practices.
- Collaborate with our investment managers, trading, backend, and wealth management teams to support the development of innovative financial products.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven ideas aimed at generating business value.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent academic background in a quantitative discipline, such as financial mathematics, computational finance, or statistics.
- Very good Python knowledge and experience with cloud providers like AWS.
- Knowledge of version control software, software development, and software design.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken) and excellent communication skills.
