Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Unit Europe team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing regional expertise and supporting the Regional Head of Business Intelligence Unit Europe in assessing and monitoring sensitive clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and advice, including Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), specific sectoral reviews, and ad hoc political risk analysis.
- Produce well-researched reports, including clear indications of sources used, and present to senior stakeholders.
- Act as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) on research in lower disclosure European jurisdictions, including Cyprus, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and others.
- Manage and expand our global Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) database, coordinate with DB's other financial crime intelligence teams, and provide relevant training to the wider BIU team.
- Mentor junior members of the BIU Europe team.
Requirements
- Graduate calibre with at least 7 years of experience in producing due diligence reports on relevant subjects in Europe, Turkey, and Israel, and relevant language skills, including excellent command of English and German.
- Extensive knowledge of open-source intelligence sources and third-party due diligence providers.
- Robust, credible, with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly and excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to condense complex and disparate open-source reporting into clear analysis for an international audience.
