Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our data services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering data services for our projects, developing client data migration workflows, and digital asset processing pipelines for moving data into our SaaS product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data migration workflows and digital asset processing pipelines for moving data into our SaaS product
  • Collaborate with project managers to analyze, interpret, and migrate data, and support them in creating correct specifications and efficient workflows
  • Contribute to best practices, code quality, processes, tooling improvements, and documentation with the team
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of relational data structures and SQL (PostgreSQL is an advantage)
  • Comfortable working with Linux systems and command line
  • Experience with scripting languages and version control
  • Interest in working with highly semantical cultural heritage data
  • Approachable, ready to help, and a team player with good oral and written communication skills
  • Delivery-oriented, experienced in working in project-based environments
  • Fluent in English; German or French are pluses
  • Ideal 2 years of full-time experience; open-source contributions are a plus
  • Work permit for Germany (mandatory)
