Lead Fullstack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) to contribute to the evolution of our Search Engine. This pivotal role is situated within our innovative cluster, "Customer & Shop Intelligence", dedicated to enhancing personalized shopping experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated search algorithms while utilizing NLP techniques to optimize search results for both relevance and efficiency.
- Develop a state-of-the-art Search Engine using NodeJS with TypeScript.
- Create an intuitive frontend that empowers search managers to tailor and improve the next-generation search experience.
- Efficiently manage large data volumes through Google BigQuery, ensuring seamless integration with Business Intelligence systems.
- Enhance high-traffic APIs, focusing on minimizing latency.
- Collaborate with experienced developers, product managers, QA specialists, and analysts to refine existing functionalities and introduce new features.
- Encourage innovative ideas and contributions within a flat organizational structure that promotes rapid decision-making.
- Work alongside our Tech Lead to draft architectural decisions and explore emerging technologies.
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Practical and recent experience with TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL or No-SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with React, VueJs, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring the quality of the codebase.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
